Panels needed

Decades ago it looks like a stereo installer took a metal saw to the structural steel panel on both sides. It would be preferable to find panels from a donor car.. either good enough to weld in, or to fabricate new panels with the holes and indents.

This photo was taken before the new Alan Bowden pressing floor panels were installed. The inner cut is repairable with a welded patch. The outer panel either needs a good template if it is rusty or a full panel if good enough to weld in.

For those with a good eye toward detail will notice that the restoration shop that did the work decided it was easier to cut the wiring loom to the rear when replacing the floor and sills. Sigh!
